Cookie policy

Which cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and how to manage them.

Last revised: October 4, 2026

What cookies are

They're small files the site stores in your browser to remember information between visits, such as that you're signed in or the language you prefer. The browser's local storage does something similar without being sent to the server.

Technical (necessary) cookies

They're essential for the site to work and don't need your consent:

  • tcgc_session — keeps you securely signed in (the page's code can't read it). It expires when you sign out or after its lifetime.
  • tcgc.lang — remembers the language you chose (one year).

Browser local storage

We store in your browser, and it doesn't leave your device unless you sign in: the decks you make without an account (they move to your account when you sign in), the open deck, your preferences (card art, price currency, tutorial sound) and interface details.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: when you sign up, recover your password or sign in after several failures, it checks you're a person; it may use technical browser data for that. More at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Google AdSense (only if advertising is active): it may use cookies to show ads and measure their performance and, only if you accept in its consent message, to personalize them. More at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

How to manage them

You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you block the technical ones you won't be able to sign in, and if you clear local storage you'll lose any decks not saved to your account.
